Ollie Takes on the London Marathon for Chapter

We’re incredibly proud to share that our Barlounge Head Trainer, Ollie will be running the London Marathon is support of local Ellesmere Port mental health charity, Chapter.

Ollie only started running a couple of years ago, so taking on 26.2 miles is a huge personal milestone. When Chapter secured their first London marathon place, Ollie put himself forward. Everyone at Barlounge is delighted he was chosen to represent them.

The Barlounge and Chapter connection started last year during our ’25 Acts of Kindness’ part of our Barlounge 25th anniversary celebration. As part of that, Ollie and several other team completed a Backyard Marathon challenge around Chester. Raising over £1,200 for the charity and building a relationship that continues to grow.

Mental health is an important conversation for all the team at Barlounge and across the hospitality industry, and charities like Chapter provide vital support within our local community. Supporting their work is something we care deeply about at Barlounge.
